FFG Happenings

Movie Night at CKS - Friday, May 2, 2010

Doors open at 6:00pm at Touhy Hall, the show, "Ponyo", begins at 6;30 pm.  Students should be picked up at 8:30.  Tickets are $5.00.  Admission includes popcorn, water and a candy snack. Pillows and sleeping bags should be brought to sit on.

Teacher Appreciation Week

CKS Teachers Make a Beautiful Day

Monday(4/3): Notes of appreciation- Have your child send in a note of appreciation for the teacher by Friday April 30. Place the notes in the designated boxes at the school entrance. FFG will hang them up to greet the teachers Monday morning. Don’t forget specials teachers, ACE teachers, support staff & Aftercare!

Tuesday(4/4): Teacher Luncheon- The theme is picnic time. FFG will provide lunch including items sent in from each classroom. Room parents will contact classes for these items. Parent volunteers will also staff the cafeteria lunchroom and office for the teachers who have duty that day.

Wednesday(4/5): Make the classroom beautiful with flowers. Have your child bring in a flower for the teacher. FFG will provide vases. Don’t forget specials teachers, ACE room & support staff!

Thursday(4/6): FFG will get the teachers’ day off to a beautiful start by providing breakfast.

Friday(4/7): FFG will provide special treat bags for the teachers.
